Mysuru: A woman officer was threatened and obstructed from discharging her duty, leading to an FIR against a villager on the eve of New Year.G Bhavya, the female village administration officer, went to inspect land to be acquired by the govt for a project. She was threatened with murder and verbally abused with obscene language, according to the FIR registered by Mysuru South police.Bhavya and village assistant Naveen Kumar were allegedly attacked by Puttaswamy in Gudamadanahalli village of Mysuru taluk on Dec 31, police said.A Nimhans-model hospital was planned to be built in Gudamadanahalli, with a total of 20 acres reserved across different survey numbers, but Puttaswamy prevented the officers from discharging their duty, police added.Police said Puttaswamy has been questioned on the issue.
