The event opened with a welcome note from the Poets of Bangalore team—Ravi, Abhishek, Prudhvi, Roma, Maria, and Sharu—followed by a lamp-lighting ceremony led by noted poets Teji, Lyn, and Vishu.Through the course of the retreat, participants shared their work, engaged in literary games, sang together, and enjoyed traditional meals. The atmosphere blended poetry with community spirit, transforming the gathering into more than just a literary meet.“Events like these bring society together for a better future. In a chaotic world, words have the power to bind us, and these kinds of gatherings are much needed,” said Ravi, representing the organising team, adding, “The venue, Maynata Residency, designed on the lines of North Karnataka’s architectural traditions, added to the cultural ambience. Guests were also treated to authentic North Karnataka cuisine, enhancing the immersive experience. Kavi Mane Utsav highlighted how literature, food, and shared spaces can foster connection, nurture friendships, and strengthen community ties.”
