Mandya: Two labourers died on the spot after the rice bag-laden vehicle overturned near Kirugalvu in Malavalli taluk early on Thursday.Kirugavalu police gave the names of the deceased as Thousif and Shaheen, who were in their mid-20s, and both were residents of Bannur in neighbouring Mysuru district.The mini truck, loaded with rice from a mill in Kirugavalu, was headed towards Bannur when the tragedy happened around 7am. The truck overturned in the middle of the road at Kodenakopplu, causing the deaths of two labourers. The truck driver sustained minor injuries.The bodies of the deceased were handed over to the family after the autopsy, police said.
