MYSURU: Tension erupted in a locality in north-east Mysuru on Sunday after members of two families from the same community clashed, allegedly brandishing unlawful objects in front of their home in Rajivnagar over a minor issue.Police arrested those involved, and the situation was brought under control. As a precaution, a police force was stationed in the area.Commissioner of police, Mysuru City, Seema Latkar, said six people were arrested in connection with the incident and an investigation has been launched.Members of the same community had an argument over a trivial issue, which led to a minor clash. The situation is currently peaceful.An officer said the incident occurred within the Udayagiri police limits, where a dispute broke out between two families of the same community over their children playing cricket in front of a house in Rajivnagar II Stage on January 18.Two FIRs were registered by Udayagiri Police, and legal action was initiated.
