Bengaluru: Postal services were affected due to technical issues, leading to long queues and extended waiting periods for customers at registered post, speed post, and parcel counters of post offices across the city. Customers have been complaining of slow service at post offices since Monday. A senior GPO official told TOI the disruption was due to technical issues with the server, which was probably overloaded after a non-working day on Wednesday (Guru Nanak Jayanti). “The server handles transactions from all over the country. The issue is being attended to, and we have resumed taking bulk orders as well,” he said.
