Hassan: Former minister and Holenarasipura MLA HD Revanna on Monday said that he will prove what he and his family are, and also warned that it is an illusion to think that his family’s political journey is finished.Revanna was addressing a gathering at the annual meeting of the Hassan Milk Union. He said that in the coming days, he, his brother, Union minister HD Kumaraswamy, and his father, HD Deve Gowda, will be together and face everything. “We will prove what we are,” he said.He acknowledged that Deve Gowda faced many troubles in the past, and he himself experienced similar challenges. Criticising those who might believe that his political journey has ended, Revanna said that he and his family will prove otherwise in the coming days.He stated that they have faith in Lord Manjunatha of Dharmasthala. In the past, politicians were asked to take oaths at Dharmasthala if they made mistakes, but now some miscreants are trying to tarnish the religious site, Revanna stated.Dharmasthala dharmadikari Veerendra Heggade need not be discouraged by any false propaganda, he said, and stated that millions of devotees are with him. Without naming anyone, Revanna expressed his dissatisfaction, saying that anyone who has wronged their district, whether politicians or others, will be dealt with by (Lord) Manjunatha. He emphasised that he has worked for the public good, not for personal gain.
