Mysuru: President Droupadi Murmu, along with her daughter, enjoyed Mysuru cuisine for breakfast on Tuesday. According to the sources from the Mysuru Palace, the President arrived at 8.50 am with her daughter. Mysuru royal family matriarch Pramoda Devi Wadiyar accompanied the President during her tour of the palace. “The President enjoyed her tour of the palace, including the trophy room and the armoury,” informed the palace sources.A traditional Mysuru menu was specially curated for the President, which began with tender coconut water, an assortment of fresh fruits including kiwi, plums, and papaya, Shavige Uppitu, Mysuru Masala Dosa, Idly, Sambhar, Chutney, Sabbakki Vada, and the dessert included Mysuru Pak, wheat Halbai, and Badam Halwa. Alongside these, ragi and wheat cookies, tea, and coffee were also served. The dishes were thoughtfully prepared in accordance with the President’s preferences.Karnataka governor Thawar Chand Gehlot also accompanied the President on her trip to Mysuru.
