This yearly drive is a core tradition of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, embodying the Gandhian philosophy that cleanliness is vital for national well-being. Mobilising approximately 550 dedicated personnel, including officers, JCOs, ORs, and over 100 proactive women from family welfare communities, the drive continued its institutional legacy. It was led by Brigadier Joydip Mukherjee, Commandant of the MLIRC. Teams were deployed across more than 20 key routes and public areas in the Cantonment and civil zones. Efforts focused on reclaiming and revitalising neglected spots, powerfully reaffirming the commitment to a garbage-free India.
