Hassan: A mentally challenged woman was allegedly gang-raped in Hassan a few days ago, and the incident has now come to light. The perpetrators recorded the heinous act and sent the video to the victim’s brother. Police secured three persons for allegedly being involved in the gang-rape.The girl was gang-raped when she was alone at her home within Pension Mohalla police limits. Eight days ago, her father and brother went to work, and the accused took advantage of the situation. They took the young woman away and raped her. They also recorded the video and made it viral. The victim’s brother also received the video from one of his friends. Later, he filed a complaint against three individuals with police.Police registered an FIR and took the accused into custody for questioning, said a senior police officer.
