Yadgir: A husband, suspecting his wife’s character, committed a horrific act by hacking his two children to death with an axe on Wednesday night in Hattikuni village of Yadgir district. Five-year-old daughter Sanvi and three-year-old son Bharat were victims of this act, while the eldest son, eight-year-old Hemanth, was seriously injured and admitted to Yadgir District Hospital. Yadgir SP Prithvik Shankar said the accused, Sharanappa, fled the scene and is absconding. He also stated that he visited the crime spot. A case was registered at Yadgir Rural police station.
