Mangaluru: The KSRTC Mangaluru division will commence special Dasara tour packages connecting famous temples of Dakshina Kannada and other parts of the state. The division planned to operate special package tours from Sept 22 to Oct 2 for visiting temples around Mangaluru and for other routes like Mangaluru-Madikeri, Mangaluru-Kollur, and Mangaluru-Sigandur during the Dasara festival.Senior divisional controller of KSRTC Mangaluru division, Rajesh Shetty, said that people may book tickets for the package tours online. Under the ‘Mangaluru Dasara Navadurga Darshana’ package, tourists will be taken to Maroli Suryanaranayana temple, Mangaladevi temple, Polali Sri Rajarajeshwari temple, Hosanadu Kodyadka Sri Annapoorneshwari temple, Kateel temple, Bappanadu temple, Sasihitlu Sri Bhagavathi temple, Chitrapur Sri Durgaparameshwari temple, Urwa Mariyamma temple, and Kudroli temple for Rs 500 for elders and Rs 400 for children.Under the Madikeri Dasara package, tourists will be taken to Madikeri, Raja Seat, Abbi Falls, Nisarga Dhama, and Golden Temple at Rs 600 for elders and Rs 500 for children. The Mangaluru-Kollur package tour includes visits to Uchila Sri Mahalakshmi temple, Kaup Mariyamma temple, Kamalashile Sri Brahmi Durgaparameshwari temple, and Kollur temple at Rs 600 for elders and Rs 500 for children. The Mangaluru-Sigandur package includes a visit to Sigandur Sri Chowdeshwari temple and Kollur temple at Rs 700 for elders and Rs 600 for children.
