MADIKERI: The state government has extended Rs 1.50 crore for the historical Madikeri Dasara.A delegation of Madikeri Dasara Committee office bearers, led by Madikeri MLA Manthar Gowda, met CM Siddaramaiah in Bengaluru and submitted a request. In response, CM Siddaramaiah announced a grant of Rs 1.50 crore for the Madikeri Dasara celebrations.The government had also provided Rs 1.50 crore for the celebrations in 2024.The delegation included Dasara Committee President Kalavathi, Working President BK Arun Kumar, Vice President Mahesh Jaini, General Secretary Arun Shetty, Treasurer Sabita, and Dashamantapa Committee President Harish Anvekar.
