Dharwad: A student pursuing MTech in mechanical engineering at IIT-Dharwad died following a heart attack. The deceased is Asthitva Gupta, 22, a native of Bihar. According to sources in IIT, Asthitva collapsed suddenly while running for NCC selection trials. The staff immediately rushed him to the clinic in the IIT premises. Later, he was shifted to a private hospital for further treatment. However, he suffered a second attack while he was undergoing treatment at the ICU and breathed his last, sources added.
