House theft cases solved and accused arrested in Kalaburagi

Kalaburagi: Three house thefts were detected, and the accused were arrested in connection with daytime burglaries under Ashok Nagar police station in Kalaburagi city.Kalaburagi city police commissioner Sharanappa SD said in a press conference that assets worth Rs 8.6 lakh, including gold jewellery, silver jewellery, and cash, were seized. The accused, Chandapasha Mahiboobapasha, 25, a resident of Hirapur and an RO water plant employee, was taken into custody.On Oct 10, Rs 80,000 was stolen from the house of Anasuya Anand Raddevadagi of Biddapur Colony. On Oct 23, cash and jewellery worth Rs 4.4 lakh were stolen from the home of groceries businessman Kalappa Malagi, also of Biddapur Colony. On Oct 25, a complaint was filed at Ashok Nagar police station reporting the theft of Rs 3.4 lakh in cash and gold from the residence of Geeta Shivaji Kshattri of New Biddapur Colony.Under the guidance of deputy commissioner of police Kannika Sikriwal and assistant commissioner of police Sharanbasappa Subedar, and under the leadership of Ashok Nagar PI Arun Kumar, a team comprising ASI Shailaja, Vaijnath, Mallikarjuna Metra, Sivaprakash, Neelkantharaya Patil, Chandrasekhara, and Mujahid Kotwal was formed to trace the accused. The commissioner said that the team was successful in arresting the suspect.
