Belagavi: In connection with the food poisoning incident at Morarji Desai Residential School in Hirekodi village of Chikodi taluk, the principal and warden of the school have been suspended.Jilani H Mokashi, director and disciplinary authority, directorate of minorities, issued an order suspending two officials in connection with the case of 77 students falling ill after consuming food at the Morarji Desai Residential School in Hirekodi on Friday. Shivappa Dukare, hostel warden of Morarji Desai Residential School in Hirekodi, and Lata, principal of Morarji Desai Residential School in Hirekodi, have been suspended from service.According to health department sources, more than 10 students are still undergoing treatment at a hospital.
