Kalaburagi: A father was fined Rs 26,000 by the JMFC court in Afzalpur, Kalaburagi district, on Tuesday for allowing his minor son to ride a bike.Gurulingappa Mallappa Jambagi, a resident of Afzalpur town, was fined after police seized the Splender bike in the minor’s possession and submitted a chargesheet to the court.After hearing arguments under Section 199A of the Motor Vehicle Act, the judge imposed a Rs 26,000 fine on the father who allowed his minor son to ride the bike. Additionally, it has been advised not to allow minors to drive any vehicles, including two-wheelers, at this time.
