Mangaluru: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the alleged Dharmasthala mass burial case continued its documentation process on Tuesday. The complainant-witness appeared before SIT, and according to a senior officer, it will take time to corroborate various accounts. All suspected sites have been marked. “We are looking into all claims that bodies were buried at the locations. The SIT is now verifying these statements and is also looking into claims that the panchayat carried out burials after completing due procedures. In this regard, panchayat representatives and local workers with over 15 years of experience in the area are being questioned,” sources said.
