Bengaluru: A 34-year-old convict, who escaped from Kidwai hospital while undergoing treatment on Sept 8, was arrested by Siddapura police.Chaitanya Kalyani, who was jailed in Vijayapura district, was brought to Bengaluru and admitted to a hospital for cancer treatment. Despite prison staff being deployed to guard him, the convict took advantage of their absence for some time and escaped.
