Belagavi: In a significant step towards promoting industry-academia collaboration, the Bharatesh Education Trust’s Global Business School (BETGBS), Belagavi, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Airports Authority of India (AAI) on Wednesday. The MoU aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and practical industry exposure by fostering cooperation in the areas of research, training, internships, and knowledge sharing. The collaboration is designed to offer students of BETGBS valuable insights into the aviation sector, enhancing their professional readiness and opening up new opportunities in the field of airport management and allied services. Airport director Thyagarajan and AAI HR manager Hemalata said they are delighted to partner with BETGBS, an institution known for its commitment to excellence in business education. Through this MoU, they aim to create a platform for mutual learning, innovation, and development. Vinod Doddanavar, secretary, Sharad Balikai, chairman-GC, and other management members of BET added that this partnership will provide the students with hands-on experience through internships, workshops, and interactions with industry experts.
