Shivamogga: The Shivamogga district administration has banned the use of colour paper blasting and crackers from Aug 27 to Sept 15 to maintain public safety and order during the Ganesh Chaturthi and Eid Milad festivals. The ban is in place to prevent any potential harm or disturbance to the public and to ensure a peaceful celebration of the festivals, Shivamogga DC Gurudat Hegade said.
