Mysuru: District in-charge minister HC Mahadevappa stated that the govt has taken the recent tiger attack incidents in Saraguru taluk seriously.Speaking to reporters here on Saturday, the Minister said that 6 to 8 tigers have strayed out of the forest, but clarified that none of them are man-eaters. “We have launched combing operations in 4 locations to track and drive them back into the forest,” he said.He admitted that instances of negligence and irresponsibility among forest officials came to his notice and assured that all the issues will be discussed in detail in the review meeting that will be held in Chamarajanagar on Sunday.Referring to speculations about political developments within the Congress, Mahadevappa dismissed talk of a “November Revolution,” saying it was nothing but “a false notion.”“There is no revolution. Revolution is just an illusion. Whatever happens will be decided by the high command, and so far, it hasn’t said anything,” he remarked. When asked whether he would continue as a minister, Mahadevappa stated that he is safe. “I never bother about when or what happens regarding my post. Power is not anyone’s family property. We can serve the people as an MLA or as a minister — that’s what matters.”
