The awards were presented to journalists, police personnel, and teachers for their contributions in their respective fields. Senior journalists Vilas Joshi, BB Desai, and Jitendra Shinde from the media; teachers Shekhar Karambelkar, Yuvaraj Ratnakar, Kallappa Patil, and Umesh Balekundri; and police constables Mahesh Patil and Srikanth Uppar were felicitated. Inaugurating the Vedant Excellence Awards event, Belagavi City Corporation mayor Mangesh Pawar and deputy mayor Vani Vilas Joshi spoke RM Chougule presided over the event, while Ashok Nayak delivered the key lecture. DCP Niranjanaraje Urs, former vice president of Zuvari Agro Chemical RY Patil, Santosh Jainoji, Lingaraj Jagajampi, and Veeresh Kivadasannavara also spoke.
