Vaikuntha Ekadashi celebrated by ISKCON Hubli–Dharwad

Hubballi: Vaikuntha Ekadashi was celebrated at ISKCON Hubli–Dharwad with rituals and cultural programmes on Tuesday. The temple opened for devotees at 8am, followed by the ceremonial opening of the sacred Vaikuntha Dwara at 8.30am, through which thousands of devotees passed. A continuous Laksharchana Seva was conducted for Garuda Seva Lakshmi Narayana from 10am to 9pm, during which the holy names of the Lord were chanted with devotion. In the evening, a Venkateshwara homa was performed. The celebrations concluded with cultural programmes at night, which received an enthusiastic response from devotees and visitors. A dance drama titled ‘Krishna Charitamrutham’, choreographed by Vidushi Hema Waghmode, with music composed by Vidwan Balasubramanya Sharma, showcased the divine pastimes of Lord Krishna through expressive movement and music. In addition, Natyanjali Kalakendra presented a Bharatanatyam dance, which added classical elegance and devotional depth to the cultural segment. The evening also featured a vibrant music jugalbandi, showcasing harmonious interaction between classical musicians.
