The departure of Train No. 20687 is now rescheduled to 11.30pm from its proposed timing of 12.15am. SWR revised the timing without seeking the opinion of elected representatives, ZRUCC and DRUCC members, and the public at large. Condemning the decision, many netizens urged SWR to restore the timing to the earlier departure of 11.15pm. However, SWR re-revised it to 11.30pm, and it will reach KSR Bengaluru by 6.50am, shunning the earlier notified time of 7.30am. Train No. 20688 is re-revised to arrive in Hubballi at 5.30am against the proposed timing of 5.15am. TOI had published a report on this issue on Dec 30.
