Madikeri: A tiger attacked and killed a cow at Badaga Banangala village under the Thithimathi forest range. The villager, VC Chandra, left the cow to graze in a field near his house when the tiger attacked and killed it. The tiger also attacked another cow in the area and injured it.Thithimathi range forest officer Gangadhar and sub-range forest officer Shashi visited and inspected the spot. They are also conducting an operation to rescue the big cat.Meanwhile, in another incident, a tiger attacked and killed a cow at Hathur village in Ponnampet taluk. Ponnampet DRFO Divakar and RRT staff visited the spot.
