Mangaluru: The Special Investigating Team (SIT) probing the alleged Dharmasthala mass burial case continued to question YouTubers and activists on Tuesday. According to sources, YouTubers Manaf and Abhishek appeared before the SIT. Meanwhile, activists Jayanth T and Girish Mattanavar also appeared before police. Among others were Vittal Gowda, a relative of Sowjanya, and local resident Pradeep.Manaf told reporters on Tuesday, that the SIT is functioning effectively. “I have given all details that I have to the SIT. The investigating agency is looking into all aspects of the case, including the skull that was handed over by the complainant,” he said.Responding to a query, he said, “I published a video after the complainant gave his statements before the court. My mobile phones have not been seized by the SIT. The SIT questioned me till 11 pm on Monday and recorded my statements. I trust the SIT. I have been seeking justice for Sowjanya and I will continue to do so,” he said. Manaf said that he hails from Sagar, where he completed his studies, and for the past 10 years, he has settled down in Kerala.
