Renukaswamy’s resting place vandalised

Chitradurga: The samadhi (resting place) and nameplate (epitaph) of Renukaswamy, who was allegedly murdered by actor Darshan and his associates, were found vandalised at a Hindu burial ground in Chitradurga district.Visuals of the vandalised samadhi have gone viral on social media. It is suspected the incident happened during the formation of a layout near the graveyard.Meanwhile, a Veerashaiva leader said that it is a natural process to remove memorials and nameplates once every 5-6 years to facilitate the last rites of others. “As part of this process, memorials and nameplates of samadhis located in 1acre of the graveyard were removed recently. It included Renukaswamy’s samadhi too. The same was informed to his family members,” he said claiming anonymity.However, the family members of Renukaswamy have expressed their ignorance over the incident.
