Bengaluru: As festive lights brighten Bengaluru, looming rain clouds may dampen Deepavali plans.IMD senior scientist CS Patil said a low-pressure area over the southeast Arabian Sea and a cyclonic circulation over the Bay of Bengal could bring intermittent light to moderate rain, with heavier showers after Oct 24.On Saturday, the city saw significant rainfall — 22.3 mm at Doddabidarakalli, 21.5 mm at Vidyapeeta, and 15 mm at Bilekahalli — causing waterlogging in low-lying areas. With cloudy skies and more rain expected, residents and traders worry the weather may disrupt the celebrations and reduce market footfall.
