Kalaburagi: A truck driver was killed near Udagi Arch in Sedam town on Tuesday morning. The victim is Riyaz Sheikhlal, 45, from Sedam.As per police reports, Sheikhlal was returning home from a private cement factory when he was suddenly confronted by the assailant, who attacked him fatally with a sharp weapon before fleeing the scene. Riyaz sustained severe injuries and died at the scene. His body was sent for a postmortem.Police indicated that an extramarital affair is believed to be the motive behind the murder. A suspect named Zaheer Shabuddin from Hayyal village was arrested in connection with the case.
