CBSE Class 12 Maths exam pattern
The CBSE Class 12 Mathematics question paper was divided into five sections, designed to test different levels of conceptual understanding and analytical ability.
- Section A: Multiple Choice Questions
- Section B: Very short answer questions
- Section C: Short answer questions requiring brief calculations
- Section D: Long answer questions with step by step solutions
- Section E: Case study based questions that apply mathematics to real life situations
The CBSE Class 12 Mathematics examination carries a total of 100 marks. Out of these, 80 marks are allotted to the written theory examination, which students appeared for in the board exam.
