Belagavi: A guest lecturer at a private college in the city, identified as Nageshwar Deminakoppa of Basavan Kudachi village, was arrested by the Camp Police on charges of sexually assaulting a girl student. According to police, the accused was sexually assaulting the student for the past two years and threatened her with dire consequences if she disclosed the abuse. Following a complaint filed by the survivor, the police arrested Deminakoppa and initiated an investigation.
