He praised the university, managed by the Shreeshaila Educational Trust, for its excellence in education and research. He highlighted the significance of its academic achievements and the new opportunities ahead. He emphasised the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence across various sectors and urged graduates to lead responsibly, balancing technology with humanity and ethics. He stressed the importance of lifelong learning and being responsible members of society. Former Union minister GM Siddeshwar awarded gold medals to top students Swatimuttu SR (MCA) and Sanketh S (MBA). He commended GM University for supporting rural and economically disadvantaged students and reminded graduates abroad of their duties to their families. Chancellor GM Lingaraju congratulated the graduates, and degrees were conferred on 318 students. Vice-Chancellor SR Shankapal welcomed attendees, and HD Maheshappa led the oath.
