Bengaluru: State Congress president DK Shivakumar constituted a committee Sunday to prepare the party for the elections to the five corporations of Bengaluru city expected early next year. The panel, headed by KPCC working president and Rajya Sabha member GC Chandrashekhar, will oversee the preparations for the civic polls and organisational works.All party MLAs representing the city, candidates from the city constituencies for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, defeated candidates of 2023 assembly polls, and presidents of the city units are among the members.Shivakumar also formed a team of MLCs to coordinate with ministers representing the city. AICC member Sunil Kanagol has been appointed coordinator for the ministers.
