Kalaburagi: A collision between a car and a jeep on Sedam–Kalaburagi Road resulted in one person dying on the spot and six others being seriously injured on Saturday, Madbool police said. The deceased was identified as Haralaiah, a resident of Sedam town. The car occupants were travelling from Sedam to Kalaburagi, while those in the jeep were en route to Malakhed from Kalaburagi. The injured were immediately admitted to Kalaburagi Hospital for treatment. Madbool police visited the site and registered a case.
