City police and Central Crime Branch nabbed five individuals, including a Sudanese woman, seizing over 15 kg of drugs valued at Rs 23 crore
BENGALURU: In a joint operation, the city police and sleuths from the central crime branch arrested five persons, including a Sudanese national woman.They seized over 15 kg of drugs — mainly MDMA, hashish oil, and hydro ganja — worth more than Rs 23 crore. The seizures were made in three separate cases. In one of the cases, a canine squad assisted the cops by identifying hydro ganja–filled parcels that had arrived from Thailand. The parcels were kept at the International Post Office in KG Nagar, and during a recent routine check, the sniffer dogs detected the concealed drugs.
