BELAGAVI: Twelve students at Morarji Desai Residential School in Hirekodi village, Belagavi district, Karnataka, were hospitalized after experiencing food poisoning symptoms following their Sunday dinner, police reported on Monday.The affected students complained of vomiting and stomach pain after their evening meal and were immediately taken to a nearby hospital for medical attention. Their condition is now reported to be stable, according to news agency PTI.The incident comes shortly after a local judge had visited the institution and criticized the warden and staff regarding hygiene and management concerns.Police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident at the residential school located in Chikkodi taluk.
