Mangaluru: Kavoor police arrested three persons on charges of drug consumption. The accused are M Sirajuddin alias MS Shaakir,25, from Ullal, Abdul Khader Adeef alias Adi,18, from KC Road, and Sahul Ameed Safwan,28, from Kavoor.According to police, on Thursday, while on rounds at 10 pm, sub-inspector Mallikarjun Biradar noticed three young men allegedly consuming narcotic substances in a public place near Kavoor Junction. Upon being questioned, the accused admitted to consuming narcotics. The accused were taken into custody with the assistance of police staff and produced before the medical officer of a private hospital for medical examination.
