SIT team began probe into Dharmastala deaths: Home minister | Hubballi News

Davanagere: In response to public pressure, the state govt constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe alleged mysterious deaths in Dharmasthala. The team began its work yesterday, as confirmed by home minister G Parameshwara.On Sunday, he told reporters that findings would be released only after the investigation concludes. He mentioned that the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) is currently investigating the Biklu Shivu murder case.The home minister rejected the BJP’s assertions about Karnataka Congress in-charge Surjewala acting as a ‘super CM’, explaining that individual discussions with MLAs are internal party affairs that do not concern the BJP. “Police personnel would soon receive P caps,” he assured.
