No ‘Sept Revolution’, everything is fine: DGR | Mangaluru News

Mangaluru: Responding to cooperation minister KN Rajanna’s statement about being committed to a ‘Sept Revolution’, health minister Dinesh Gundu Rao said there is no revolution, and that everything is fine. Speaking to reporters, Rao said that Rajanna should answer for his own statement. “We cannot respond to everything. According to us, everything is fine, and everyone is united,” said the minister.Regarding allegations that Randeep Singh Surjewala, Congress general secretary in charge of Karnataka, held a meeting with officials, Rao responded, questioning which officials Surjewala met. “I have no information about such a meeting. Legislators and party leaders were called, but I am unaware of any meeting with officials,” Rao said.To a query, Rao said that Rahul Gandhi gathered substantial information on the misuse of the Election Commission during the last Lok Sabha elections in Karnataka. He is aware of the actions taken by the commission in Maharashtra, Bihar, and Karnataka, and plans to disclose this information soon.Gundu Rao expressed concern over the declining trust in the Election Commission, stating it is detrimental to democracy. The commission should be impartial, but its actions, words, and management suggest otherwise, which is alarming, he said.Further, he pointed out that everyone knows what the Supreme Court said to the Enforcement Directorate (ED). He claimed that the ED, IT, CBI, and the Election Commission are all aligned, and the country was under authoritarian rule for 11 years, silencing opposition voices.
