KSBC conducts doorstep services programme for advocates in Mys | Mysuru News

Mysuru: More than 200 advocates, who are members of Karnataka State Bar Council (KSBC), on Saturday utilised the Doorstep Services programme.KSBC chairman Mittalakod Shidlingappa Shekharappa inaugurated ‘Doorstep Services of KSBC’ programme at Mysuru Bar Association (MBA).Advocates willing to change their registered addresses with the State Bar Council, update the nominee details for the Lawyers’ Welfare Fund, obtain an ID card, or make any amendments previously had to visit the Bar Council office in Bengaluru. For the first time in India, the KSBC chairman, along with his team, visited MBA and successfully facilitated these services on-site. MBA president S Lokesh said it is a matter of joy that over 200 lawyers took advantage of this first-of-its-kind initiative in a day.KSBC former chairman HL Vishal Raghu, KSBC member Chandramouli BR, MBA secretary AG Sudhir, and vice-president M Chandrashekhar were present.
