Bengaluru: A six-member gang that specialises in stealing mobile phones of BMTC bus passengers has been arrested, and 70 phones, an MUV and an autorickshaw have been recovered.The gang — operating since two years — targeted passengers in crowded buses and bus stops, police said. Their arrest followed the July 10 theft of Maula Hussain’s phone in Kudlugate. Three suspects were nabbed on July 15 near Hosur Road, and three more the next day near Devanahalli. The gang’s kingpin, Raghu, and two others are absconding.
