Bengaluru: Flyers passing through Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) are now greeted with a new sensory experience as the airport rolls out its signature fragrance, aiming to elevate passenger comfort. Named Dancing Bamboo, the fragrance has been developed for Terminal 2 in partnership with global sensory branding company Aéromé.The aroma, notable for its calming and comforting qualities, is being diffused across prominent areas, including check-in and arrival zones. The initiative places KIA among a select group of international airports adopting bespoke scents as a branding strategy, enhancing recognition while fostering an emotionally resonant atmosphere.Shalini Rao, chief marketing officer, Bangalore International Airport Ltd, said: “We see every journey as an opportunity to create meaningful experiences. This signature fragrance brings a new sensory layer to our brand — serene, rooted in nature, and quietly luxurious.”With this addition, the airport further advances its vision of enriching traveller experience, combining elements such as architecture and olfactory layer.
