5 things parents should never discuss in front of their kids

As children, we often see our parents as the safest place, believing they ‘know everything.’ While it’s normal for parents to have their own differences, it’s not okay to discuss those differences in front of the child. When a child gets to hear about their parents’ insecurities, incapabilities , or doubts, it’ll inevitably create anxiety and confusion. Children may internalize these feelings, thinking they are the cause of their parents’ problems or burdens. This can destabilize their sense of safety and emotional well-being.
